Yes, you can pair your Bluestone Sunshield with the Bluestone Sunscarf for added protection for the top of your head. Alternatively, you can use the UPF50+ Travel Bag that comes with your shield to help provide extra scalp protection while on the go.

While your Bluestone Sunshield provides UPF 50+ protection and blocks 99% of UV rays, we still recommend wearing sunscreen on exposed areas of skin for full coverage. The shield is an excellent physical barrier, pairing with sunscreen ensures you're protected from reflected and indirect UV rays as well.
All Bluestone Sunshields provide UPF 50+ protection and block 99.95% of UVB rays. However, the addition of tint and color finishes enhances UVA protection, offering an extra layer of defense against sun exposure.
If you're looking for the highest level of sun protection, we recommend choosing any of our colored shields, followed by the black, and then the clear.
